anyone had this problem before? i dont know what it is but i have had 2 different scanmasters hooked up and neither seem to read the mph correctly...when i feel i am going about 70 it will say something rediculous like 49...how can i trust it if it is telling me something i know is wrong? any one know what could be the problem?

Do you have a 145mph speed on the dash with a reducer, if so remove the reducer and then hook the speed cable directly to the transmisson should solve the problem

i do have a 145 speedo that also doesnt read correctly in my opinion...what is the deal with it? where is the reducer/speedo cable hook up at? thanks for the info...

If you did not install it look at your tranny where the speed cable connects into, or look under the hood right by the master cylinder you should see the speed odometer cable by the fire wall and it should be a small reducer

ok,..i will check on that when the rain lets up...thanks!
