Scanmaster Power Switched or Not?

I recently switched my Scanmaster power source from switched at the fuse box to unswitched at the fuse box. How do you guys do it, and why?

You can run it either way. When the Scanmaster goes to sleep due to no data the current draw is extremely low.

mine is currently switched, but i could see doing it unswitched, so you don't lose run data by not thinking and shutting the car off when you get back into the pit/parking area. if you're wired like me, you could wire hot unswitched, ground through the aldl, and just unplug your ground when you're ready to put the car away.
