Scanmaster problem

Hi Guys. I am not sure why the scanmaster in my 1987 GN isn't working. When I start the car it lights up and shows 888 888 and stays that way. If its toast I need to know. Or if its fixable I need to know how or where to send it. I checked all the connections and they are correct. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx Ed

It's fixable. Make sure your ground connection is OK, but otherwise you can sent it in to be checked.
