Scanmaster scan tool

Does anyone know if scanmaster makes a scantool for 84-85's or do you have to upgrade the ecm to 86-87 and go from there?

You have to go to the 86-87 ecm. But, I have also heard that a scanmaster will work with the 84/85 ecm but only like 2 modes will display?

So far as I know (correct me if I am wrong) but I believe scanmaster wont work at all on our ECMs (only the 86/87), and turbo-link works, but only displays TPS voltage, knock, and O2. I know for a fact that thats how turbolink works on our cars (used a buddies when I first bought my GN) but am not sure about Scanmaster... I'm jsut going off of what I have heard.
