scanmaster, turbolink, or directscan

I just purchased an 87 GN and I need a scan tool. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of each? I am mainly looking for a tool to monitor knock and to use for tuning. I am leaning towards the scanmaster because directscan and turbolink don't give immediate feedback while driving. Are directscan and turbolink a better tool for tuning, or will scanmaster give me all the information that I need?

I say get the scanmaster first. Always a good tool. Then down the road get the new powerlogger Mike Licht is coming out with. Do a search and you will see some screen shots of it.
