So i'm still fairly new to the GN world.

I got a Turbolink V2.13 with the car, but I don't like the idea of the old laptop.

By your experience, is the scanmaster will do the same thing? Most of you running the scanmaster and look simple to operate and quick readup

I read this link, but I never tried any of them. So I can't tell.

I'm not looking to go into the 9s but simply have an aggressive street car with bolt on.

How much would the turbolink sell with old laptop and all.

Scanmaster won't log (record) the data.... only display real time (and has a max/min recall on some data values). Also, both scanmaster and turbolink use the slow aldl data - 1 frame of data every 1.5 secs. You can upgrade the scanmaster to a faster display with a special chip, and you can merge the scanmaster with the new powerlogger data logger system ($$) but a laptop is still required to log (record) the data so it can be played back later. I personally use Direct Scan, which utilizes the high speed data port at the ecu, and logs onto my old laptop. It's pretty much the same as powerlogger, except without the usb connection and fancy/schmancy windows interface, and can be picked up for ~$120ish. So, pick your poison. What can your wallet do for you???

Much eaiser to have a scanmaster on the dash then a laptop next to you.
