This past weekend, I had the pleasure of competing at the SCCA's Match Tour at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park, just a stone's throw from Beech Bend in Bowling Green.
There were about 125 drivers from all over the country, some of the fastest people on four wheels. The Classic American Muscle class had 9 drivers, and I managed a 5th place finish, finishing behind talented drivers in much newer equipment. Right behind me was a rookie in an 1986 Monte Carlo SS. The two of us made what most think was the first time two G-Bodies have ever competed at a national-level SCCA event at the same time, ever.
But nobody cares about that, here's the video of my fastest run!
