Schraeder valve and fuel rail cap?

I took my f/p guage off the car today and will be putting a new electronic one on next week. However, I need to drive the car before then but can not locate my old schraeder valve and fuel rail cap. Unfortunately, I can not find my original pieces and I've torn my garage and car upside down looking for them.

So, can I use just any S-valve and do I have to have a cap on it? Or, do I need to go to the parts store?

Because I sold it and it is being shipped. I thought my old valve/cap was in the car or in the tool box but it wasn't.

Any S-Valve will do..you dont 'need' the cap...HTH..

Thanks. I went ahead and bought replacement parts just to have stock pieces. Should be here tomorrow.
