On the last pass Sat. nite the timing decided to retard 4*every thing else stayed the same. Eric any ideas as to why and how to keep it from happening again.

Explain a little more. You had 4* of knock retard, or the timing setting itself changed?
If the timing setting changed, then the memory in the powerlogger may have been corrupted for some reason.

The only thing I can tell you is to remove the Powerlogger and re-clean the edge connector on the ECM. Hopefully that will solve it. If not, we may have to look at the Powerlogger.

will try the recleaning, been acouple of years. If thats the case wouldnt other thing change also?
