I have a set of Sealed Power 7144MA main bearings, and a 3.8 V6 even fire that is supposed to be out of a 1980 Century. The main thrust bearing seem to be too tight to press into its seat. The bearing measures about 0.872" wide, and the journal measures about 0.907" wide. It has "3112AA L" on the lower side. Is it possible that I have somehow got the wrong set for this engine? Does the V6 have a rear thrust bearing update somewhere in it's history?
Main cap bolt size is 1/2" coarse.
And if I place the thrust bearing in its crankshaft journal it seems to have about 0.100" of clearance, way out of line

I must not have the right set, but what should I get?
Thanks
