I asked a few people and theyve told me the PP doesnt work well with alky. They say its and air distributor and not a fuel distributor.

Do they not exactly work well with each other? Or is the gain not that significant to spend the time?

Anyway, I just wanted to ask before I drop 60$ and 4 hours of my time.

Side note: How long does the Progressive kit take to install? Easy to install or no?

How long does a full tank of alky from the kit last? On average? How long does the methonal take to arrive?

The power plate is meant to distribute the air incoming to the plenum to the cylinders equally. It's a great product.

Should have no effect with Alky, if anything help!

I plan to one day in the near future add an alky kit and I plan on leaving in my PP.

alky kit

i remember reading something on here about the PP and alky and i think it was Race Jace had done a test of some sort. i think they complement each other...Maybe Jason can chime in. The PAC kit is easy to install and has about a gallon tank(the radiator overflow). Julio's customer service is great if you have problems. It depends on how you drive and the tune of the car but a gallon should last a good while..i think i used 2 gallons in a month:) a total of $7 for methanol..............................Bob

No issue using the plate..probably saved my arse tonite..

3 bar MAP tells the alky controller how much boost the engine is seeing.

You only need it if you want the alky injection to work.

do you need a 3 bar map? that depends on how much boost you run. if you run stock boost levels then no you dont need it. if you run higher than stock you nedd it the 3 bar map reads -15 to +30 a 2 bar reads -15 to plus 15

hahaha, alrighty then, seems that I need it.

i run the plate and alky...two of the biggest anti-knock items you can do to your GN...it really does work

I run RJC's PP and Razor's Alky. I am a believer. I didn't realize I had a fuel pressure problem and my O2's dropped in the low 600's on a run (before I lifted). I was running 93 octane, 24* timming and 26lbs of boost. I only recorded .5KR on my scanmaster. I am running a TA49 and a PTE front mount so that may have also helped avoid a disaster also. Still shooting the fuel problem. Damn, I just had the car tuned great, had the PTS tranny put in and now It's someting else. Well I guess that's what makes these cars so much fun!!
If you ain't busy trying to make them go faster then you are trying to fix what broke when you made them faster.
