Well i got the gn out monday for the first time in three years and figured id get some end of the year cruisin in..all was well and man it felt good to drive the car around again...Before i put it away it had an intermittent smoke problem..It hadnt smoked at all since i had it out so far...I leave buffallo wild wings and all of a sudden i hear a grinding noise and it wont build but three lbs of boost... i pull into a gas station and take a look even when i rev it in park its makin an uugly noise..I shut the hood and try to make it back to my shop prolly 3 miles away.

.All of a sudden i hear a shriek and nothing and my car starts smokin like a freight train  literally i couldnt see the car behind me...I get it to the shop and pop the hood and theres small oil spots here and there all near the hot side of the turbo...My guess is the bushing seized and all the oil puked out the downpipe and the oil i saw is where my downpipe was leaking(stock)...Cause the engine never missed a beat, it didnt run like it was fouling out the plugs and running oil thru the intake ill pull an inlet pipe and see what i see...

I have a te63 but i was waitin to get everything before i installed it cause im guessin it wont work well with the stock stuff... Anyone ever use a 63 with stock everything else? Besides cold air,no cat and an adjustable fuel pressure reg?...I was gonna buy a gas tank and get a transmission built before i put that turbo on...I have a ton of other goodies to add but those two items are holding me up...I could always throw another stocker on for the moment but winters around the corner anyway i had my fun for now i guess....

Take the turbo apart and see if there are metal particles in the down pipe and the intercoller pipes. Some of this may have made it into the engine but I hope not.
