Anyone got a Select Comfort Sleep Number bad? And how do you like it?
My wife and I have been thinking of getting one, looked at them today, had a little sticker shock at $2099 for one of the nicer ones plus another $3000 if you want one that raises and lowers the feet and head section
Several folks at her work swear by them.

We bought a 5000 a couple months ago. It replaced a 10+ year old water bed and the difference is night and day. You really do end up sleeping better once you find what you like.

Ours wasn't that much though as we were on the mailing for a long time and got a fairly decent deal after awhile.

But it is pretty expensive when you think its really only a hi-tech air mattress. All in all, we are happy.

got one of them badboys.i had a water bed for years.i used to crawl out of bed crippled amd then i got myself one of them mattreses. what a diffrence.it cost around 1200 but that was around 5 years ago.they say a good night sleep is priceless.:D

They had 4 different models, difference mainly being the different pillow tops. We were opting for the 7000 model, which is the 3rd up the list price wise...or lets say thats the one we were liking the best before finding out the price :)
My Mom may get one so if we both get one, you get 15% off the second one...thats a good chunk of change.
Thanks for the input.

I purchased the 5000 King Size with the single wireless remote control close to two years ago, to replace the water bed I had owned for over 10 years. After the sticker shock had worn off for what amounts to pretty much two air mattresses. I can say without a doubt that this is the best bed I've ever slept on. The bed just flat out works.

It will take you several nights to get used to it at least that's what happened to me. But once you get your number dialed in you won't believe how much of a difference this bed makes. Then down the road if you want a firmer or softer mattress just hit the button on the remote.

i got a tempurpedic and i LOVE it . you should consider it. i used to have back problems, but not anymore.

I have the 5000 Extended King. We love it. There is somewhat of a "sticker shock". Ask for last years model. Mine was $1700 with dual controls.

Don't be suprised when it shows up and it's all plastic, for the most part. I was pretty disappointed that I spent that much money for what looks like to be very little.

On a good note, it is a great bed.
