Hey everyone, quick question. What is the sensor on the driver side of Intercooler? Thanks

Do you mean the MAF?

No sir, small sensor screwed into Intercooler. I have cold air kit and don't see an IAT sensor anywhere, but my scanmastet is reading one ... just wondering if maybe it ended up in IC? Thanks tho

These are pics of the IAT sensor in its stock location. HTH.

Thanks for the quick replies. I've been reading and checking various sites and info before posting, as I've found most of my questions answered if I read enough. IAT is only one I can't account for, so if I unplug the sensor thats plugged into the IC and it sets a IAT code, I'll know for sure. Thanks and really enjoy the site!

IAT unplugged will not show a code

It does on stock setup I dont remember what #, but thats the only mal code i've ever had because i gorgot to plug it in. I believe the chip can be programmed to ignore it though.

If it is IAT it should do something different on my scanmaster since sm reads it, maybe? Thanks

Hey guys, it was IAT plugged into Intercooler. Disconnected it and it set code 23. Thanks for the info, this site rocks and wish it was around in 87!
