Hey guys,
I've got a '97 Olds Intrigue with a series II 3800. What would be the sources for getting oil into the intake plenum area? I pulled the plastic plenum off and the valley is standing in oil. The pcv valve is bone dry and so is the passage in the back of the dog house. I would suspect reversion from a broken ring but the oil does not smell like gas. I don't think it could be coming from the valve covers because the rails are clean.
Any ideas where the oil came from? From the EGR maybe??
TIA
