i do enjoy my hotair GN, i don't plan on intercooling it anytime soon, but i do plan on cleaning up the engine bay a bit. I have a dual fan setup off a 99 Z28 that i'm planning on installing along with an IROC radiator in the near future. After this I'd like to clean up all the belts.

i know that this will involve switching out some pulleys, repiping and wiring, but my question is does anyone make a conversion kit? i called March and they have no bracket kits for our cars.

do i simply have to find another 3.8 with a serpentine belt setup? Will brackets off a front wheel drive car work? Were there any other GM vehicles in 87 or 88 with a 3.8 in a rear wheel set up?

any and all help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

You're stuck with the parts from an IC car. The FWD parts are way different. You'll also need to buy the fuel inlet line from an IC car as there will be no room for the fuel filter with the PS pump in the way. You'll need everything off the front of the IC motor. Including the AC line that runs across the top of the radiator.Everything. Thats the alternator(nice upgrade to the 120 amp unit),PS pump and reservior and AC compressor. And you'll need some new hydraboost hoses if you dont have the PowerMaster booster. It aint easy or cheap but it can be done.

ouch?!... yeah, that mod might have to wait a bit longer than i originally thought.
