I was following the hanes manual to tear down my stock 200-4R. I found that a rebuild was not necessary but had already pulled the servo and pin underneath it. How do I get that pin back in ? A large screwdriver on the other side (pan off) to press the band to align the holes?

Also I was thinking of buying a used GN servo. What effect would the GN servo have on my tranny's behavior. Would it be a good choice to supplement a shiftkit ?

MTIA,

D.

Using a screwdriver is fine but it's pretty hard to miss the band lug when inserting the pin.

Installation of a GN servo would be a great idea to provide a crisper 1-2 shift and greater torque capacity for your band.
