Setting Fuel Pressure

When setting the FP & the vacuum line is off, car idling, should the vacuum be plugged or jus leave it open? I read in a thread a suggestion to plug it while setting the FP.

I plug it so unmetered air doesn't get in and start the BL's moving; if you have closed loop idle anyway.

It doesn't make any difference. Either way will work.
