I have a set of t&d roller rockers what is the best way to set them? i was told to "hot lash" them and what i did was loosen them till they started tapping and thenjust barly tighten them till they stoped lock em' down and move to the next is this right?? i did that today and it sounded good untill i put the covers back on and now i here a slight tapping i gess i need to go back over them agin but i wanted to ask diffrent opions first........thanks

How did you set the preload with the engine running?
Im assuming the rockers are the same as the TA roller rockers for the 350 Buick (shaft mounted) and the preload adjustment being done at the pushrod cup. I tried adjusting mine on my 350 motor with it running and the "mechanical shock" of the rocker arm made me loose my grip on the allen wrench
