I just ordered a B&M shift improver kit for my 200r4 . Has anyone used this kit and did you notice a big difference.
My trans has 125k on it and I would like to see if this is going to take care of my lazy 1-2 shift problem before paying fo a rebuild.

Also what rpm should I be running at 65 mph? I am wondering if my converter is not locking up . Last night I took the car for a ride on the interstate for the first time and at 65 mph I was turning around 2600-2800 rpm. This seemed a little high to me with overdrive and a lock converter.

Thanks fo any help!

Yes the B&M does make a differance, very basic though and don't exspect tire ripping shifts. To test your l/u while your cruzzing keep your foot on the gas steady and use your other foot to tap the brake pedal slightly and see if the rpm's riase about 50-100rpm when it unlocks this will tell you.
