can I re use the bracket off my 200 where the shifter cables hooks to the trans to actually shift? Not the bracket that bolts to the pan but to the side of the trans

No. You are going to have to cut the lever ears off your old shift lever and have them welded back onto the shifter lever that came with your shifter. Ask me how I know  .

Im using the stock shifter with a modded plate mounted nect to the shifter in the console, Im not sure what exactly you mean  Weld what ears where?

Okay. I didn't know you were using the stock shifter. I couldn't re-use the stock shifter lever . Mine would not mount on the tranny gear selector all the way. I also couldn't get the rod for the column in because with the 400 in park the stock lever was too far forward. Didn't matter anyways, I just cut the part off for the column and repositioned it onto the new lever. I am using a B&M quicksilver. Maybe some of the other guys may have some pics of there install.

oh ok gotcha, now I can picture what you meant. Thanks for the reply. Maybe I will look for one of those universal ones on Jegs or something. I dont think I need the gear input for the car since Im running the FAST so I might leave it undone for now

I re-used pretty much everything except the column linkage. The cable mounting bracket on the pan needs a hole drilled in it and moved back. The shift shaft bracket should fit right on. Mine did at least.
If you are using a reverse shift pattern, the stock shifter can still be used, if you replace the detent bracket with the ones Brian is selling.

ah yes, I bought one of those from you right before Brian started selling them, Im fastregalwe2 on the other board. I do have a RMVB in the 400. You didnt need a gear signal to your ECM? I dont hink I do cause I didnt see any parameters in the FAST that used the signal, like all the fuel and timing tables appeared to be driven by MAP and TPS etc

Sorry... My memory is toast. :D

Eric burns me special chips... No VSS or NSS inputs needed. It's still adjustable, but timing/fueling stays the same thru all the gears.
I'm very happy with them.
