Shifter cable adjustment

Installed a new shifter cable and wont shift into low gear only drive.How do adjust it

I just replaced my cable too. Make sure you get the right one. I ordered mine from the dealer and when I got home I found out they ordered me the Wrong one. I did get the Right one in a couple of days.

There is no adjustment, atleast from what I saw, when I was under there. Compare your 2 cables together, if your orig cable is not snapped. Your new cable might be shorter, not allowing it to travel the distance needed for the lower gear selections.

You may have to tweak the linkage that goes to the column.

I bet it the linkage too take loose and adjust shifter 1st and the adj other!
