Does anyone have a page showing how to do this? Mine is off enough that the backup light don't work. Wouldn't bother me if I didn't have a 100' curved driveway.

It's not the shifter that needs adjustment. It's the P/N switch. If you look under the steering column you'll find attatched to it a white switch. The swith is adjustable side to side to give you P/N and reverse position. If I remember right the adjustment is kind of like the TV cable meaning it has a series of detents to keep it's position. The switch may also be adjusted by loosening the screw at the trans to steering column rod. You'll find it where the linkage connects at the transmission. It's been a long time but that's how I remember it. Take a look you'll figure it out.
