Shifting Question

When running WOT(Racing) is it better to shift my 200 maually or let it run though the gears on it's own?

Also, if cruising at a slower speed and I want to stomp on it, should I let the tranny downshift or do it manually?

Will it hurt to shift manually?

I think most people let the tranny do the shifting under WOT. I don't think it hurts anything to manually shift. Where are you in VA?
