I guess its not really blues as much as it is trials of putting your motor together. So far this is what I have run into.
TA Teflon coated Cambearings have some knicks in the coating from when they were pressed in by the maching shop
File fit rings are for a 4.00 bore and I have a 3.995" bore so lots of filing
Can't find a local shop with ARP assembly lube for torquing the main caps down
Got some light scratchs on the cylinder bores from pulling the rings in and out trying to get the end gaps right before I gave up and decided to buy a mechanical filer not my hand files
Does anyone have the torque values for ARP main studs and rod bolts with thier lube and engine oils?
What do ya'll run your ring gaps at? I was thinking .015 top, .018 second and .020 oil rings.

Roller lifters fit perfectly,
block was pretty clean to start with
Eagle cank sure looks nice in there
my old school Vanderville Rod bearings clear the radius on the Eagle crank with no machine work
Despite not having an air compressor I still managaged to scrubb and dry the engine without any rust on the machined surfaces or in the oil passageways
