should I bypass the psi regulator on my pump or run it unrestriced?

I have plenty of flow at the psi it came from the factory set at(100psi). Is there any advantage to bypassing it other than higher flow? Will it make the response of the system smoother, ie less tiny fluctuations from the pump cycling on and off at 100psi?

If you bypass the switch, the pressure will go to whatever maximum is on the pump when 12volts is applied. That can easily be over 200 PSI. only way to drop pressure is to reduce voltage like 6 volts for example.

Or let the switch cycle on/off/on/off
