GN is parked for the winter with a full tank of methanol in the overflow tank. Should this be drained out or will it be ok for the next 5 months?

I'd drain it.

Methanol wont freeze, tho some say it can gel up. Either way after sitting for 5 months, I wouldnt use it.

Easy way to drain it.. unhook the hose from the filter, attach a short section of 3/8 efi hose over the end of the filter, Other end into a suitable container, unplug the MAP sensor, turn IGN on, then jump the gray and green wires on your MAP sensor plug. That will run the pump full boogie.

Take you less than a few minutes to do. Plus you get to check out the pump doing its thing.

A paper clip or plastic fuse can be used as a jumper for the MAP plug.

Definetly. Methanol with start to gum up and it will be a nasty mess to clean out of your lines and wat not. Plus if it is in a plastic container not rated for methanol it will dry out the plastic and you will have the risk of plastic flakes in the mathanol or a crack in the contianer.

Does meth store well in the 5 gallon drum it came in, even if it is half empty? I wouls assume so, but you know what happens when you assume things...:)

Keep it of the ground so it doesnt pull any additional moisture.

I've never stored a few gallons.. they always seem to disappear :D
