I have an SMC kit, and I am wondering if the gauge in the line between the pump and the nozzle should be reading any pressure at idle. I talked to Steve and he is willing to do anything to help me, but like an idiot I started testing the car on a Friday so I can't call him until Monday. The gauge reads about 15 pounds of pressure at idle. I mounted a hood gauge to watch it while driving and the pressure slowly built up to 20-22 psi without going into high enough boost levels to make the controller spray. I have been chasing a flooding problem with car and as soon as I unplugged the alchohol unit my problem went away. Sorry for the long post, but I have until Monday to think about it.

no. The only way you should show any pressure at idle is if someone is in the car presssing the test button. If there is pressure showing on the gauge there is alcohol being sprayed into your motor....
