I tried doing a search but to no luck. I was just curious if anyone knows how I can keep the drivers side mirror from shaking. I don't have a rear view mirror so I typically use that mirror to see what's coming up behind me and will often times put my finger on it to steady it out to see out it...the passenger side however is rock solid all the time.

If you are talking about the whole mirror shaking from being loose at the base where it mounts to the door.

Just remove the upper door panel and you can see the two 10 mm nuts that hold the mirror on,you can reach them with an extension and ratchet fairly easy.

Here is a thread that may help with the mirror repair if it's more than just the screws loose.

Here is a thread on how to remove the door panel if needed.

Nah it wasn't the whole mirror assembly just the glass. I'll see if I can find something to help me in those threads though.

Ok i think i know now what the problem is.

If you remove the side mirror assy. from the door, looking up from the bottom of the assy. you will see two phillips head screws that hold that center section in place that the glass mirror is attached to,they probably just worked loose.
