side to side play??

how much side to side shaft play is ok.. if any? bought a turbo off a member here, needless to say i'm not too happy considering nothing was said about it.

side to side is ok. thrust play is bad. all turbos have side to side play. the oil pressure fills that. i had to brand new turbos that had side to side play. noting to worry about. check and see if the blades hit the housing. thats when you know its too much
