I don't think it's needed on our cars, but the LED lights for the old cars is great. I know my Mustang needed them. Seems you could get a white one since the lens is red.

You are supposed to use the bulb color that matches your lense. If it is a red lense, you are supposed to use the red LEDs. I'm not sure why. I'm guessing that they are much brighter, and they won't appear red enough. ???

As for what I think... I don't know. I'd have to see them on the car to figure out if I like them, and that requires buying them first. I may try them on my waGoN, just because the lenses in the back are so small, and they only have one bulb per side for brakes. I want to make sure people can see them.

The brake lights on my Cadillac and my motorhome aren't as bright as I'd like to see....These may help :)

Yes, That seller has red and white bulbs.

I have read somewhere that these bulbs will blink too fast unless a resistor is used. Some led replacement bulbs have the resistor built in. Just a heads up.

LED's draw less power they might not flash at all , or very slow. Have to find a different flasher or a adapter to make them flash. All the Big light makers (Grote, Truck-lite sell what you need. The more bulbs you have on the flashing side (left turn for example) The more likely it will work with the standard flasher you have..I.ve converted many trucks at work to LED Usally three or four bulbs a side and had no trouble using the flasher that came with the truck.

I put in front LED bulbs and the turn signals would not flash. I had to install an electronic flasher unit and now its fine:)

I tried some in the taillites in a TR. Forget about it. I don't know if they flashed because I didn't go that far. The center bar in the tailite bezel hides the direct beam of the led bulb, and the whole glow inside the lense was less. I took them right back. They are about $17 a pair at Autozone.

I just got red ones. They looked like the ones on the site you posted. I'm sure amber ones in the parking lights would be fine, but like I said, the tailite bezel blocks view of the bulb.
