GBodyParts.com 23 Row Stock Location Intercooler $750.00

GBodyParts.com 23 row stock location stretch intercooler. Each unit comes with a factory style Intercooler tag. They are sold in the order they were built. Intercoolers are fully polished with custom adjustable shroud. All 4 ply silicone hoses & t-bolt clamps are included. Measurements: 13.5" wide core, same as the factory. Core Height is 15-1/2". Thickness is 3".Inlet is 2.5 " as is the outlet to your up pipe. Yes you can use your stock up pipe.It does have the Dutweiller style neck on the unit. Smaller units then this have already been in the hi 10's. Why go with a stock location over a front mount unit? Well 1 major factor is that in street use there is no over heating in traffic due to the radiator getting heat soaked. The shroud on our intercooler can open up to 5-1/2"'s to allow even more flow at the track. On the street simply adjust it back to stock height. This unit wraps around your sway bar & does not hang any further down then your factory IC scoop would on any 86-7 turbo buick. We also supply a new polished custom passenger side mounting bracket.

Measurements: 13.5" wide core, same as the factory. Core Height is 15-1/2". Thickness is 3".Inlet is 2.5 " as is the outlet to your up pipe.

Installation Instructions: If you have a stock IC in place the only thing you are doing different is installing our bracket. (Compared to stock it is the same dimensions except the bottom is cut)
Our intercooler has the same bolt hole locations compared to stock!

Keep in mind these cars are 20 years old. The IC shroud has hit plenty of curbs & the factory brackets do get bent. Also keep in mind that there is an alternator cable that is attached to the front cover & several nuts which space the passenger bracket out. If you only have 1 nut on there it will not be spaced far enough away from the fan. I found the easiest way to install any SLIC is to attach the passenger bracket loosely. Then install the IC. Attach your hoses & clamps. Start all 3 bolts for the mounting. (Everything should be close) Loosen turbo so you can clock it. Tighten passenger bracket to cover Stud. Tighten 3 mounting bolts. Make sure alignment looks good then Clock turbo if needed.
Tighten all hoses & clamps and enjoy your new SLIC!
