Here is what I am experiencing.
When staging the car on the brake with my foot to the floor the boost will slowly build and stop at 18-19psi then when I let the brake go it take less than 2 seconds to come to full boost which is set to 25.I am leaning toward a very tight converter.
When i shift the car the rpm drops4-500 rpm.I shift at 7500 and cross the line at 7200.

Need some ideas.

what is your build up? are you running any kind of boost controller, etc.? What kind of 'verter? Gear?

It`s a twinturbo with 2 T70bb turbos.I use a manual boost controler.Boost starts at 3200 and steadily goes up with rpm.
I run a powerglide trans with a 1.76 first gear and a set of 3.90 gears witha 33x16.5 tire.
My main concirn is if i stand on the gas with the break it goes to 18-19 and stays there and there is almost a breaking up sensation like a plugs fouled then release the button and it takes about 2 second to go to full boost. So basicly I run full boost after the 60 ft mark.

I've actually been experiencing similar problems with my manual boost controller. I've gotton very inconsistant boost readings the last few times to the track. I'm now convinced that it is the black plastic knob-style controller that is to blame. Time to get the Innovative. A 1.76 glide w/ 3.90's and 33's also sounds geared a little high IMO. Not sure if this would cause your boost condition, but its something to look into. I run a 28" tall tire w/ 3.70's and a 1.76 glide and i'm thinking about trying some 3.90's.

Try putting more fuel in it in the cells where it wants to stop building boost. And also maybe retard the timing in those cells to. If it's too lean it won't spool.
