I have a te44 and with the stock convertor it spooled kind of slow but now I put in a pats 2800/3000 and it spools even slower. With the stock D5 I cut a 1.8xx leaving at 4 pounds, and with the new convertor I'm cutting a 2.1xx leaving at 6 pounds. any ideas? My fp is set at 43 at idle.
Thanks jerrad

Any headers cracks? What size exhaust housing? 44 likes a 63 Garrett pretty good.

A converter is not just about the stall speed it is how it mutiplies torqure that
why your six foots are suffering try a pro torque or precision industries converter. nothing to do with you fp.

If there are No Exhaust Leaks as a suggested problem area.....then I would first supect the MAF is going south! Is the spool up time to 4 or 6# take a Long Time?

The Convertor change should have made a positive difference...thats why I suspect MAF.
Check scan tool 02Mv while spooling to see if its too Rich. (Post Readings?)
I assume your not using to much alky at low boost etc. after launch?
