Today for about an hour I couldn't get the low fuel light to go off on my SMC controller. Finally, it went out after driving around for a few minutes. It works fine now. Anybody else have this problem?

James, the float could have been stuck under the wires inside the bottle.
If it happens again, look inside the bottle and see if this is the case.
If so, use a long handle screwdriver or whatever to move the wires out of the way. Been there, done that.

Thanks for the reply Gary!

Next time I'll check that right away.

Did you wash your engine or get the connectors wet? This happens us all of the time. It takes time to dry out (1 hour) and then it goes off.

As of matter of fact, I did spill alcohol everywhere while I was trying to fill it up.

That will do it! Problem solved. Get yourself a plastic gas container and fill it with the alcohol. Helps avoid the spills.
