Some kind of plug in to your computer that will pull timing when it senses knock then restore to its max safe level. Unless of course ,it exists already

That's exactly what your stock chip does...it pulls boost and timing when it senses knock and then restores them back in at a programmed rate. Most aftermarket chips keep this feature, as well.
