SMC alky kit question

When driving around in "normal" traffic, etc., do you guys leave the pump on all the time, or just turn it on when you might be ready to get on it ? Sorry for all the questions recently. Newbie when it comes to the alky kits.

I leave mine on all the time and I keep the alky tank filled all the time. One never knows know do one?
