just got my kit instaled took it for a ride in this michigan cold weather with 100 oct thrasher chip ,20#boost, 93 oct fuel set pump to come on at 12# boost with pump speed at 6 no knock,02 readings at .829 sounds like time to raise the boost cant wait till the weather breaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I run the Thrasher 100 and turn the alky on at 13-14psi. I am running 22psi in 1st and 2nd and 20psi in 3rd.

Eddie, Just got my kit today, hope to install it within a few weeks & hope for similar results!! .829 02's ? WOW!! Just be smart with the boost increase...good luck!!:)

Eddie, I just got mine too, but did not install it. Does the car bog when the alky comes on? BTY I live in sterling Heights.

George

george the only time the car boged is when i test sprayed the car at idle about 750rpms.

You will love it. I got mine this fall and ran it with 22psi on a Red's 93 chip. No bog here either.

It's a good idea to include the alchy mixture that you are running, alond with the other data. I see this left out all too often, and it is a valuable piece of information.

SMC Beleiver!

I installed smc in June and went from 15 psi all the way up to 25 psi all day every day. Knock is no longer a problem. This is also with the stock intercooler. I realize at 25 psi I was probably blowing hot air, cannot but have TOO WAIT for a V4 . Best 350 bucks I have spent to date. Sorry no track confirmations except one 12.9 pass after letting of throttle 2/3 down track as I lost the boost signal too the smc brain WOW lots of knock then. Corrected this problem with wire ties on all boost affected lines.

The SMC kit uses a rubber hose tied to a boost line like your boost gauge.

It runs into the controller box and allows you to set the boost the unit starts to pump alky. at via a Hobbs type pressure switch.

Adjustable with a knob from the controller.

Right! And if a vacuum line comes off, the 'hobbs switch' looses the boost pressure to it, and the alchy shuts off.

Wire ties are cheap! :)
