Would it make sense to purchase the SMC kit and then use the O/F bowl or winshield washer fluid reservoir instead of their tank?
How easy is it to get the pump in there?

Why?

Are you looking for more capacity to hold alky? The tank they send worked for me for a weeks worth of driving, daily. I would recommend staying with their tank unless you want more, then ask for their larger tank. (1 gallon I think?)

It would not be too easy to modify the system and fittings to do that. Also would pretty much void the warranty.

I figured as much. I just thought some guys might do it to keep the car more stock appearing and get more capacity. Cant complain about it lasting a week though. How often do you get on it and when does it come on?

I have it coming on around 12-13 psi. The trick is to have it high enough that it wont come un during normal 1/4 throttle driving, but early enough to quench any knock. Im an average TR driver, who puts the right foot down more than occasionally, but not all the time. I know when its becoming too much... I think?

hehe
:)

Good luck,

I thought about putting a fitting in the bottle and running a line up to the coolent overflow or a fake battery. Might need to plug some leaks around the other fittings.

I am striving for 40% alky though, so fire is not a concern.
