SMC new jet vs old jet,which one?

I sent my tank in for a braided line upgrade and received a new nozzle & jet. The new jet appears smaller,and appears to now point straight up instead of towards the throttle body. Can this be correct? Should I use my old one which worked great or use this and point it up? or point the new one towards the TB? Thanks

Yes, that is correct. It now points towards the up-pipe wall. Just install it and enjoy.
