Well, I have had my SMC single nozzle progressive kit on the TR for about 200 miles, but its been on the car for a little over a year. It will not spray under boost, but if you press the test button, it will spray. I have checked and rechecked all of my install wiring and can't find a problem. SMC asked me to send the pump back, and they rebuilt the pump for free, but it still doesn't work. Now that its over a year old, I'm sure they won't warranty it, so am I better off buying a whole new system or should I try to just buy a controller?

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Try working with them again, they have always helped me. They even replaced my pump for free when my dumb azz put rubbing alcy in the tank and burned it up, I even told him what I did. He also sent me a new nozzle when I got a newer chrome up-pipe for free, I even told him nothing was wrong with the kit I was just putting on a new pipe. I was expecting to get charged for it. Really great customer service. Call him up, I bet he helps you out no problem.

Would sound to me if you hit the test button and it sprays the pump is fine. If you go into boost and it doesnt, then its related to boost signal not making its way to the controller.

Maybe Steve mis-heard you.. try him again before making a decision.. man it could be a simple hose popped of the back of the controller..
