SMC progressive/pump strap

Anyone have trouble getting the pump mounted to the AC accumulator using the strap provided? The strap seems about 2" too short. I tried getting a longer strap at the parts store, but they didn't have anything longer. I hate to bother Steve on Sunday so I posted here. Thanks.

Just installed one. I had the same experience that you had.

I grabbed another regular hose clamp (about 2.5 inches long), connected it to the large one, and this extension lengthened two clamps into a clamp that was big enough to work. Worked beautifully.

Thanks. I'll try as you suggested. I thought maybe I was trying to fasten the pump incorrectly.
