Anyone tried Joe Tripodi's system?

I really like the looks of the kit, and was wondering if anyone has tried it, or any thoughts on it? It is a regulated system, and an update to Steve Y's original kit. I have an SMC kit, as it seems easier to tune initially, but may go to Joe's kit when I up the HP. TIA.

Joe offers really nice stuff..it's not plug and play but it allows you to build a system to meet your own specific needs....Joe's a great guy.

Aquamist?

Okay, let think crazy for a second:

How about six aquamist nozzels, one at each port. I saw an intake that had foggers plummed and thought about buying it to use for direct port W/A injection but the price was a little high.

So, any comments?
(OVERKILL or just right?)

Dman and I considered this.
You need to figure out a mounting strategy to allow access to the nozzles for easy changing. Another unknown is, with such a short, direct shot, whether or not there will be enough time to allow for the cooling effect.
After considering the work involved and also how well our systems already work we decided we were too lazy to get into this. Still, it is an intriguing idea someone should try.

Seems to me, you need a little time for the alky/water to vaporize. Port injection might create some variances in the amount of vaporization altho the aquamist nozzles might be pretty close to being vapor upon injection. Still the evaporation process is what removes the heat.

yeah, Steve-o, the cooling is helpful but not the only factor. What actually goes on inside the combustion chamber is way beyond me.
On my current system I spray the fluid quite close to the throttle blade. However, I have, over the past years, tried many different mounting locations. But never directly above the ports.
What Dman and I conceived was some sort of doghouse arraingement, probably using 6 nozzles. We really didn't map it out seriously tho.
If I had a bit more energy I'd probably give it a shot. I have a feeling it would work.
