Just recently the car has started smoking... Again on start up. The last time this happened, the stock turbo's seal had gone kaput. Since then I have acquired a new TA-49 from Bison and I pulled the intercooler and all the piping, cleaned them and reassembled. It has been 1000 miles since then... Now my hoses from turbo to intake are saturated with oil, but the intercooler side of the turbo is clean as a whistle... I'm just unsure why this is happening on a 1000 mile turbo? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

See if the intercooler has oil in it.

Intercooler was clean, ran some degreaser through and then water. Just a little discoloration in the degreaser when I poured it out

How much smoke are you talking about, just a quick puff? If your car has stock heads on it without seals on the exhaust valves once they start getting run hard they will puff on start up for a second.

+1. If it's the turbo you will see oil. Remove the dp and look in between the blades of the turbine. You will see oil there if it's a problem.

It's a 1-2 second spurt only on start up after its warmed up. I will pull the dp sometime this week. Thanks for the guidance
