Smoke Test

Wondering where can i inject smoke on the intake side of the engine to see if i have any leaks anywhere.

I pumped smoke into one tailpipe (plugged the other) and saw i was leaking at my band clamps. I assumed this verified all way through the downpipe and exhaust headers, that sound about right?

I wanted to run smoke through the intake side, valve cover areas, crank case to see if my covers are gonna leak, oil pain and dip stick tube are gonna leak, etc. Just not sure where to pump the smoke into.

I just ordered one to find a leak in my Xterra evap system ,looks like most putout over 15 lb ,you must be careful if your checking crankcase and keep it below 2 lb. if you do it will leak oil after your done.
