Just curious if anyone can help. no smoke under throttle, only at idle. I know its oil smoke but not sure where to start looking

If anyone is willing I can email a short video to see exactly how much its smoking. its not allowing me to attach a video here

it can be a multitude of things, unfortunately,

turbo seal (pull downpipe and look for oil/behind turbine blade, and in the outlet pipe(compressor side)
pcv sucking oil (inside the doghouse there will be oil and behind the throttle blade)
valve guides/seals
leaking intake manifold (should blow oil out the breathers if this was the case, but may not)

ive even heard of a bad ignition module/coil pack causing this (although i dont know how)

im in the same boat as you right now chasing this very issue

Check your turbo seal for leaks like suggested even if it is right out of the box. I had an almost new TE-60 with a bad seal and chased my tail trying to find my smoking issue. Use a flashlight to look inside the housing from the exhaust side. I mistakenly thought the leak would be obvious with oil coating the inside of the downpipe. Absolutely no oil visible post turbo.
