So what kind of snow tires do I need to drive in the new 6 inches of snow I got here Detroit? I was hoping for a new M/T snow drag radial. Just think, I would look like those drifters. I want some good weather soon befor I go nuts!

you dont use snow tires on a tr. you get a crapmobile for that :-P then you can run into stuff without minding

I use 4 Blizzaks on my car. :)

After 6 inches you start pushing stuff with the air dams, cold air cleaner, intercooler scoop, etc.

No biggy they plow well.

I do have a beater, and I run into all kinds of crap! However the turbobuicks around here all roll on 36's with spinners.:p

I always liked the Goodyear Eagle GT M&S versions...worked well on my Olds Custom Cruiser w/9C1 suspension too..

on the wifes van i use the winter force, i think made by firestone, less than 1/2 the $ of blizzaks and scored even better on the tire rack

Never used winter tires on any of my fwd cars until this year. I got a set of Blizzaks and all I can say is wow. I'll never drive in the winter without them again.
