I attended the Rockingham event today and I had a great time. I ran my best ever 1/8 and 1/4 mile and I was so close to a 10.99 but never got it because of my lousy 60' times. Clint tried his best to instruct me on doing a proper burnout to get a better 60' and on one run I thought I had it but the tire turned on the wheel. Thanks for the help Clint and I will use that method from now on. :biggrin: Mike helped me tune the car (thank you) and it was running great....my driving kept me from a 10 second run.

My best two runs were:
1.706
4.619
7.080
99.79
11.010
124.32

1.776
4.681
7.131
100.34
11.031
125.35

My worst of the six runs was:
2.198
5.245
7.728
99.14
11.668
124.14

As you can see, I need to launch better.

Boost = 26-27
Knock = 0
AFR = high 10s
TCC lock @ 95
Fuel = about 100 octane (93+110) with methanol injection
Rest of combo is in signature.

Man, great times.

remove the passenger seat, you may have gotten your 10.99!

Thanks Scott. I'm keeping the tune conservative so parts stay together.

Jim,
Glad to hear you finally hit that 100mph marker in the 1/8! Definately a 10sec car with a 1.6's 60ft or less. Next time I go down to RC's bring you data logs, from Rockingham, as I would like to examine them. Congrat's again Jim!:D

Mike--Thanks for your tuning help...it really helped. Let me know when you are going to Richard's and I will bring the logs.

Thanks Sam. It may take a little more track time but I will get a 6.99 1/8 and/or a 10.99 1/4. :biggrin:

Thanks Pat. Get your valve springs in and get some good times with your car.

I sure hope Piedmont builds a 1/4 mile track over the winter.

Nothing like running the full monty.

Now if I could only get my car to run at maxton's monster mile.
