And pull off the A-pillar trim piece, guess what I find? A vacuum line, ground and 3 wires, all cut.

Is there any chance the vacuum line is just cut?

Yep, sure the heck is and the wires were hot too.

You know, I've been finding all kinds of wires and stuff stuff that I don't know where they go. Hell, I even found a line lock the other day. It's hooked up and works too. Of the three wires cut one must have been for the light in the gauge. There's a purple wire that looks like it runs down to my line lock solenoid. Is there a light with the line lock? I don't know where the other wire goes.

On the ECU there's a wire that's been tapped into too.

LOL! That could be a good or bad thing. Atleast ya found a vac leak.

Tapped wire could go to a scanmaster. Extra wire in a pillar and line lock could be for and LED to show when activated.

I think my car was no stranger to the track, wish the last guy would have just left all the stuff on it. I picked it up from a dealer though, don't know who took all the stuff off.

I bet the dealer took it off so the buyer (you) doesn't ask a bunch of questions like "Has this car been to the track?"

What color is the tapped wire on the ecm? If its yellow, probably for a knock gauge. Check the gauge surround bezel for a small hole, have seen line lock engage lights installed there.

Yea, probably, it's funny, I would have said cool what did it run? Dealers always take speed parts off, I'm the guy that wishes they would leave them on. My spider senses were tingling when I looked at the car. I saw the dump pipe and a few gauges. That part that threw me was the wastegate, it has a factory wastegate on it. The car has 27k miles, but we noticed some bolts were way to easy to remove. My friend and I just looked at each other like WTF, but we both knew why the car was coming apart so easy. I'm scheduled to take the car in for a billet trans build, but now I wonder if it has trans work.

I think it's blue, I'll get a pic and post it up.

Here's the pic of the ECU wire that's tapped into.

First. Get that scotchlock off the ECM wiring. That looks like the TPS wire so the car probably had a TPS tec or other throttle activated thing on it.
