yes winter is tuff here in florida almost was too cold to get in the gulf this weekend,but being on the boat all day with that hot sun coming down on you gets ya in the mood,not to mention all the hot ladies on the sand bar that pops up in the middle of the bay on low tide,pulled up, broke out the grill, turned up the music,poped open a cold beer and sat and watched and enjoyed the awesome weather with the family and friends......oops sorry guys,this was supposed to be a sad thread..lol...ill take a pic for you guys,but i cant post the ones the ladies always like to pose for.....

Considering winter usually lasts 8 months in New England I can't complain this year. No snow yet. I'm sure it will get miserable soon but I don't even have the heat on in my house. It's nice to see other parts of the country as miserable as Connecticut is every year. Global Warming is great, atleast in New England

Yea but the water is too cold 2 months with no skiing and having withdraws and getting terribly out of shape...no fun to exercise with no water and hot sun ..time to move further south..maybe to that sand bar Irv is talking about...oh no there's too many blue hairs there in bikini's..I've seen that

60 when it gets that cold here we wear heavy jackets ...its funny and true,when i first got here(20+ years ago)it was like 50 out and i was wearing shorts and no shirt all around and people looked at me like i was crazy,but i was wondering why others were bundled all up,i mean litteraly wearing thick heavy jackets,now im doing the same,heck when i was a kid i used to walk around barefoot in the snow in shorts,well then they thought i was crazy too.....hey maybe i am?

Well, been over a month, and if you live up north and hadn't had any winter the first time around this posted, I bet you got some now!
I think since the first of Jan we have hit 60-70 maybe 2 or 3 times, the rest of the time is in the 40's..this has been the coldest winter in a long time here, not so much being cold as its only been to about 22, but its been weeks of just 40's for a high....I've been sick with a head cold since Jan.1 and can't get rid of it....getting another dose of cold this week

We have been under a "Winter storm warning" all day but not a flake of snow has fallen

I've seen worse but this is continuous. Tiny little freezing rain hitting you in the face like blowing sand. I have heard it hitting the window all day when I have been indoors. Not much more accumulation but it is also getting colder. The snow on the ground from overnight is piled up and mushy. I am sure the ride home is going to be interesting; came in at 6:30 this morning to beat the idiotic traffic. I filled up last night just in case I get stuck in traffic.

Weve had about 7" of snow total so far. Last few weeks the temps were lucky to get above 0* during the day, it has warmed up to about 20* during the day and around 0* at night last weekend though.
